The aim of AIDE project is to help realise the benefits of AI in healthcare for all by designing a platform for sustainable stakeholder engagement.
This will help us to determine the level of understanding around AI in different groups and what assurances are needed to garner trust. Designing an effective platform requires consideration of different options for stakeholder engagement and involvement. We are conducting a scoping review of published literature to identify what is currently being done to engage various stakeholders in the implementation of AI in healthcare. We will compare and contrast this with accepted best practice for stakeholder involvement in other fields to make recommendations around what a future platform for stakeholder engagement should include.
